A Hard Goodbye

Mom and dad will always be mom and dad. They took care of their kids - all of them.

They helped us find peace and relaxation that we had been missing in our lives for some time. Parenthood is challenging when you do it right. Our house became a home, because of them. All the projects that I should have done for my family, they did for us. I keep telling them, they put us 9 months into the future with all that they accomplished.

The most important part of this trip, was reuniting Sofia with her grandparents. Something I think I take for granted, since I have always had mine around. What a blessing it was to have them here to take care of her and her rambunctious self. To attend church with them and to build important memories. To enjoy the mundane parts of life together.

In case I forget, we miss you and we love you two.
