Moments

Today, you are 16 days old. Countless diaper changes, sleepless nights, soiled sheets, and sporadic naps - the fun never stops. You bring your mom and I together as a team. And for that, I am thankful. I hope we are doing a good job for you, little one. I have already seen your little personality begin to peak out. It makes me excited for what is to come. And that is why I am meditating on these smalls things - these small moments - that end up being so important.

I often remind myself to cherish and enjoy this time in your life; we only have a newborn for a month. Your dependence on us is a wonderful responsibility. And as you grow, I’m sure we will miss this time and how much you needed us. Beautiful moments.
